hi, i’m in a dilemma right now, me and my wife are planning to buy our first vehicle, we have 2 kids. I work abroad, so its my wife who would use it. She just recently learned how to drive, now i’m torn between buying a second hand vehicle or brand new one.

Alex – I sympathize – I really do – but one of the lessons that young people need to learn is that their actions have consequences. I agree that the dealer profited off the back of a young person who probably wasn’t ready for such a big decision, but it’s not as if she was forced to buy that Jeep. I’d guess she really, really wanted it.

It’s unfortunate of course, but it’s the way the world works…and now your daughter in law knows that first hand. Best of luck to you both.

My Daughter in law went out and bought a brand new jeep, threw a lift kit on it, and now realizes that she can’t afford to eat or buy clothes. Selling cars to young people should be prohibited under very strict constraints.
The sales person made their commision, and just caused this young army recruite to ruin their credit. That is SALES FRAUD in my opinion any dealership that does this should have to accept the car back and eat their loss, because what they have done is dishonest.
